My midterm Intervention had taken many forms in my ideas and concepts, but as an artist myself, I decided to create something similar to the Carolyn Lawrence painting. I had previously shared my ownactivism and bringing awareness to voter rights. I decided to work on something. I’ve already been a part of and feel is important. Especially from all the readings and conversations we have in class. I believed it was an important time to do such a thing. I was able to go vote early and use the same day to bring out neighbors to go vote as well.I had only after the fact or realized that the inspiration and my work were both made with acrylic paint. Many people commended the side profile aspect of my work and Many enjoyed reading the message and that it had a translation. I enjoyed bringing it to NJ. See you as I was able to meet new people and organizations that appreciated the work as well as our conversation conversations with people about these rights.
