They let people complain, joke, and share critiques in ways that catch attention. Even though they’re short and funny, memes open space for bigger conversations and awareness. By pointing out what’s wrong in society, they can help spark the kind of dialogue that leads to real change.

Patriarchy is basically a system where men have most of the power and influence in society, and it affects the way people live, what’s expected of them, and even what’s considered “normal.” Activism is when people speak up or take action to challenge unfair rules or systems and fight for change. Systems like patriarchy shape our lives in ways we don’t always notice—like telling men to “man up” or making it harder for women to get the same opportunities. Activism pushes back against all of that, helping people question these unfair expectations and stand up for their rights.
