"In order for this to happen, we need to pay attention to that all important step between awareness and change: action."
Response: What it means is that it is important to take action in order to raise awareness and change. As the saying goes, Actions speak louder than just words. For example, if you want to make a change in the government, you could take action by voting.
"Ideas and awareness are important. That’s how people change their minds and then take action. One requires the other, and getting people to think and talk about an issue is absolutely critical. But if it stops there, and stays at the level of changed consciousness, then nothing is ever going to change. We need to manifest general ideas into specific actions that can be visualized and thus enacted."
Response: This interests me, since making and sharing ideas and spreading awareness is how you can get people to change their minds and also take action. Not only it gets people to think about it, it also gets people to talk about it that's absolutely critical, like people talking about a certain topic that people could relate. For example, if a person talks about the idea of their art piece that represents the companies' corporate greed, it could spread awareness for people to think and talk about how some companies are being very greedy to its customers, like Disney. It would later on lead into action like a protest, like for animators and writers who would go on strike.
